My Story

Hello every one,

I have been requested to write about my story in IT so here we are.

I was attached to the computers since I was 6 years old when my elder brothers brought a device that can be connected to a TV and it has very simple functions and it was called Sakhr Computer. It is usually used for games and drawing and it comes with a keyboard only without any thing else. It was look like this:

I was very surprised and I was wondering how this thing works?

Then for the next 10 years I never had a computer or the ability to work with one except in some occasions and events. when I was 17 years old I decided to do what ever it takes to get one. So I purchased one and I start exploring it and spending a lot of time in the internet reading about it and how it works. I started with the formatting process what I did is formating the Hard Disk  and reinstalled the windows 18 times until I understand every single problem that can be faced during the installation.

When I  start surf the net for long time I was reading about all kind of software wither it is simple or complex. Once I read about a software called  Adobe PhotoShop. I become interested to read more and more about it once I knows that it’s commonly used for different kind of designing. Then I started to learn it in depth to discover all it’s features. So I become hungry to all kind of information not only in Photoshop but in all Multimedia softwares such as video editers, 3D randers and sound makers.

Any way, Once I joined Nizwa College of Technology in 2005 I found a good place to practice and apply all of my knowledge. At that time I was working as Technical Manager at Ghayat Al Murad for Audio and Visual Records which gave me a very good opportunity to build up my self. Inside my college compose I was the leader of the IT club and representative of the It student. In 2008 I got the first rank in Omanskills competition in Graphic Design. Than I got the opportunity to represent The Sultanate in Abu Dhabi at GCCSkills competition and I got the second rank in the same field -Graphic Design-.

At June 2009 I was one from two first graduates from SYP1(Show Your Potential)  from Knowledge Oman and I have been a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist. Right Now I am a student in Higher College of Technology in Muscat and Technical & administrative Manager at Alarm for Internal security and safety devices which is specialized in fixing security systems and surveillance cameras.

In the near future I’m going to take the second certificate in the series -In sha allah-.
